Great Flavor - You Can't Beat Black Walnut

There are - as far as I know - 2 types of walnuts; the tan ones you can crush openly easily and Black Walnuts which aren't that easy, but taste so much better. I don't know how I missed this when checking out the various varieties, but now that I've found it, I won't miss it again!
Smooth creamy fudge imbued with that special black walnut taste can't be beat - it's a good as my mother used to make - and she made great black walnut fudge every fall when the nuts were available.
Oh yeah, black walnut ice cream is also my favorite ice cream. Wonder how the two would go together?
Thanks for helping me relive an important part of my childhood Uncle Butch!

Probably not a great idea to order fudge in 90 plus degree weather, but it is very good, a little expensive but understandable. I'm sure I will reorder when the weather decides to cooperate. Thanks

Post office held my order up.

The post office in Tennessee held my order up for 3 days by the time I got my order the dry ice was no good.
